Interact with me on Facebook!
Hi!
I'm sorry to inform that I'm closing this blog soon. I won't be posting on this blog anymore. I've realized I'm not a good blogger. I want to continue to interact with my readers, but I hardly have time to write what needs to be written in a blog as I have a pretty busy professional and personal life. I want to have time for my actual writing. I'm opening a regular author webpage where you can get information on my books. I'll post the inf. as soon as it's live. You can still interact with me on my facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/rrodriguezeternalbeloved. Hope to see you there! Thank you so much for your support! It means the world to me.

So I've realized I'm not a good blogger. I hardly have time to write anything worthwhile on here, but my fb and twitter pages are growing little by little, which is great! It is such a nice surprise when I see I have a new reader on my pages. I hope to reach as many people I can with my writing. This is my contribution to the world. It's extremely important to me. I aim to entertain, but I also have a message to tell. I hope you all enjoy my books!

I am by no means a good book reviewer. I've simply left my impressions on one book or another on goodreads. Last night I left one such impression about a certain book that has been hot, hot hot, lately. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. It just got me thinking... really thinking about a lot of stuff. I'd like to share my impression. Feel free to comment.
Book Review: Book #3 Fifty Shades of Grey
The first book pulled me in. Way in. Their sexuality was compelling. Their relationship, though... Scary. Christian sounded tempting for a woman's libido, but totally unhealthy for her emotions and mental state. I was exhausted by the second book, both by their sex life as by the rest. I honestly skipped through the third book. I kept trying to find an actual plot. Bottom line, the plot was weak, but the man has us dreaming in the bedroom. Oh and it doesn't hurt that he's rich and can give us the world. No more cooking, cleaning, and working because we need the money. Lol. I'm seriously in deep thought about what our attraction to such a controlling man says about us as women. Myself included... They say he's based on Edward Cullen? Right on. I am not team Edward. I found him to be unhealthy for Bella, as well. I'm team Jacob, but check this out... When I actually analized why, I was ashamed of myself. He's warmer and she could supposedly have real babies with him. If memory serves me right, he has major anger issues and he could hurt her at any moment. Oh, wait. So maybe Christian Grey is really a cross between Edward and Jacob? Why do we swoon for these characters? Food for thought.

Book Reviews
So...I've been off for a while. I have so much work from my day job that I hardly have time to take care of what really makes me happy, which is writing. I was a busy little bee this weekend, though. I began to contact book bloggers about reviews for my book, author interviews, and giveaways. I have had some responses. I'll keep you posted. I've also been working on completing my second book. It should be out by May. If you or anyone you know is interested in writing a review for my book, contact me at roserodriguez826@gmail.com. I will provide you with a free eBook copy of my book. You just need to sit back, read, and post an honest review on various webpages. I'll keep you posted.

Thoughts for Other Writers: The Right Time to Write
Should you write when you're inspired, or set a specific time to write? That is a question a lot of writers ask themselves. Well, every writer has their own recipe, but since a lot seem to complain about lack of inspiration and writer's block, I thought it'd be beneficial to explore the subject. How do I sum this up? A writer is a writer, is a writer... Which means that it doesn't matter if you're wholly inspired or not. As you have probably noticed, writing has been a part of you for quite some time. It is probably your ultimate passion, so it will always be a delight to write no matter if it was planned or suddenly inspired.
Although you may think that you can only write something decent when divine inspiration comes down upon you, you'd be surprised at what having a writing routine can do for your craft. Writing, like any sport or skill to be perfected, has to be practiced and developed. Creativity will surge through you even if you set aside a specific time to write. Writing daily actually trains your mind and body. It creates the superb habit of creating a specific space in which to let your creative ideas loose! You can also be more in touch with the flow and cohesiveness of your stories if you work on them everyday.
Think about any task you have been obliged to do, like a report for school, or a deadline in regular job scenario. Where you able to come up with content then? Well that's exactly what will happen if you commit to writing everyday. As long as you have your mind in gear, it will produce wonders! The care you give your story through the gift of time and contemplation will reflect upon its outcome, as well. Happy writing!

Today I held my paperback in my hands for the first time. It was a good day. I hope to touch others with my stories. I care about young women's issues. Grace had the urge to die. Chastity is a wild card, a self proclaimed "cherry bomb." Would you like to know where her escapades will get her? You'll get to find out in February!
